Founder Story – Pacson Music School

Pacson Music School was created from a deeply personal journey.

Originally from the Philippines, Steffi Pacson moved to the United States at the age of 8, first to Queens, New York, and later to Long Island. Growing up between cultures, she often felt she didn’t fully belong—leading her to search for a sense of identity through artistic expression.

As a teenager, she independently explored multiple disciplines—dance, music, visual arts, and performance. She auditioned for Broadway, trained at Barbizon Modeling School, studied contemporary dance at Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, and took classes in hip-hop, belly dance, and more. Alongside this, she wrote poetry and drew anime, at one point considering a path in visual arts. Without realizing it, she was pursuing one goal: becoming a complete artist.

Refusing to follow a conventional path, she built her own. She studied piano performance at Adelphi University and graduated with distinction, and trained in audio engineering at SAE Institute New York, also with distinction. She later expanded her songwriting in Nashville through the Nashville Songwriters Association International and the New York Songwriters Circle.

Her journey has always been self-driven, guided by curiosity and growth. Moving to Brussels, she built her business while becoming fluent in French—embracing challenge as part of the process.

This path led to the creation of the Pacson Method™—a multidisciplinary approach to music education that combines technique, creativity, movement, and self-development. It encourages students to build awareness, confidence, and identity both on and off the stage.

Pacson Music School is a safe and empowering space where students are encouraged to explore beyond their instrument, stay curious, and accept themselves fully.

Steffi’s vision is to create a lasting impact—not only in how students perform, but in how they see themselves. She has intentionally taken a step back from her own artistic career to focus on building a school that inspires and empowers others.

At Pacson, students are not taught to sound like Adele—they are guided to sound like themselves.
