Do you open your DAW but feel stuck, uninspired, or unable to move forward?

Creative block is something every music producer encounters. You may find yourself repeating the same ideas, abandoning projects halfway, or feeling disconnected from your creativity despite having the technical basics.

This workshop is designed for producers who already have some experience using a DAW (Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, Reason, or similar) and want to develop a more fluid, confident, and inspired creative process.

If you are completely new to music production or unfamiliar with production software, we recommend first attending Federico’s workshop The ABC’s of Music Production: From Setup to Your First Track, which covers the essential foundations.

In this session, music production teacher Federico will guide you through practical techniques to help you overcome creative block, unlock new ideas, and reconnect with your creative instinct.

• Techniques to generate ideas quickly and naturally within your DAW

• How to develop tracks without overthinking or losing momentum

• Using creative limitations to unlock new musical directions

Practical information

This workshop is intended for participants who already have basic experience using a DAW.

Participants must bring their own laptop with their preferred production software installed.
