Meet Maddie – Songwriting & Lyric Writing Teacher

Maddie, also known as Madelinksi, is an American singer-songwriter and lyricist currently based in Brussels.

After initially stepping away from music during college, Maddie found her voice through poetry. In 2018, she reconnected with songwriting, bringing her poetic sensibility back into music and developing a style rooted in storytelling, imagery, and emotional honesty. Lyrics are at the heart of her work, with a particular love for wordplay and clever turns of phrase.

As an artist, her influences span genres and generations, including Norah Jones, Jon Bellion, Noah Kahan, Sam Fender, Olivia Dean, and Carole King. Her hope is to create music that feels familiar and free — the kind you listen to while driving with the windows down, carried by both nostalgia and possibility.

Maddie’s mission is to help you discover and strengthen your own artistic voice.

In her classes, you won’t just analyse lyrics — you’ll be writing your own songs, experimenting with ideas, exploring your emotions, and developing your creative instincts in a supportive environment.
